December Book Club

From Sister Scott:

We're going to be doing something different for December book club. I know it's a busy time and you may not have time to read, so we're going to watch The Nativity Story (a movie) and discuss it.

We will be meeting at Sister May's house on TUESDAY, Dec. 22, at 6:30. Notice that this is a different day and a different time. Please bring a treat to share. Invite anyone who may be interested, especially those you think might like book club but just haven't had a chance to attend yet (They don't have to be members!).

Visiting Teaching Conference

Don't forget the visiting teaching conference is this coming Sunday, November 29th, during the 3rd hour. For those sisters in Young Women, Primary, or Nursery - the men will be taking over for you this hour, so everyone gets to come! :)

Fireside in Terre Haute

There is a fireside being presented by the BYU Men's and Women's Cross Country Team and their coaches this Sunday, November 22nd at 6:30 pm in the Terre Haute meetinghouse.

Fireside

There is a fireside on November 22nd at the Stake Center from 7 to 8 pm, hosted by the Indianapolis 3rd Ward. The topic is "Faith Precedes the Miracle".

Visiting Teaching Conference

From Sister Carroll:

Our visiting teaching conference is the last Sunday of this month (November 29th). It's a 5th Sunday, and we'll make arrangements for the sisters serving in Young Women's and Primary to attend the conference that 3rd hour of the block. (I know it's the weekend following Thanksgiving, and many families may still be traveling, but that's still the best day for our ward to have it.) Anyway, we're looking for a few sisters to share positive experiences you've had with visiting teaching--either as a visiting teacher or as one who was visit taught. Please contact me if you have such an experience that you'd be willing to tell us about during the VT Conference.

Book Club

Book Club is meeting November 19th at 7 pm, but the location has changed from Sister Carroll's house to Sister Scott's.

November Announcements and Events

There will be a Document Preservation class taught by Sister Surface at her house Tuesday, November 17th at 7 pm.

Book Club will be meeting Thursday, November 19th at 7 pm at Sister Carroll’s house.

The Ward service project is November 21st at the Interfaith Food Pantry from 10 am to 12 pm.

Stake Conference is November 22nd at the Stake Center from 10 am to 12 pm. The Saturday session is on the 21st from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Super Saturday

For those of you who were not in Relief Society last Sunday, Super Saturday has been cancelled. This is in large part due to the recent counsel given from President Beck regarding Reliefy Society activities in today's economy.
